CHEL and The Peer Review Portal partner for higher education leadership initiatives

The Peer Review Portal is proud to partner with CHEL to support higher education leadership initiatives and benchmarking reviews. We describe our journey in this brief overview of our development as an Ed Tech company that supports higher education leaders with accreditation and review activities.In 2016 we saw an opportunity to develop an Ed tech business that could support and connect HE institutions through a cloud-based review management system to monitor all course and professional accreditation activities. Two key challenges facing universities and colleges have been: 1) institution-wide regulatory burden to meet accreditation requirements and; 2) the significant costs in building curriculum review management systems to meet those accreditation requirements.

Our mission is to support, connect and advance higher education institutions by creating a sustainable and affordable review management system with services to support evidence-based decision-making and accreditation.  We work with individuals, institutions and networks to make evidence-based reviews efficient, cost-effective, and outcomes-based. The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) has approved the Peer Review Portal as an online optional support mechanism which individuals, education providers, industry, networks and professional associations can use in meeting national and international standards in external peer review.
